My friends and I fared well with the storm last week! But it was still quite windy up here! Check the time lapse of the last week and you can see the whole forest swaying with the strong winds.
As seen above, it did rain quite a bit. In fact last week's rainfall total is as much rainfall than we have received since late April!
Besides the wind and rain, we were immersed in dense clouds for most of the week. In fact, we have had some of the darkest, most humid days up here in a while (see daily solar radiation graph below with the red circle indicating the days during the storm).
The bottom line is that when the sun finally comes out, all of this rain will be great for me and all other plants up here!
